Even if the lawyer has approved the form of the letter, a lawyer may not allow the client to use the lawyer's letterhead and signature stamp to send collection demand letters. A lawyer may forward to the client any court-awarded attorneys' fees as long as they are a direct reimbursement for services rendered to the client.
