40-Trust Accounts

A legal aid society may not withdraw from its trust account and use funds received from former clients for costs, even though the funds were not used and the clients cannot be located despite a diligent search. In the future, the legal aid society could ask that clients consent to such withdrawal and use of left-over client funds.
