A lawyer may practice criminal law in the jurisdiction where the lawyer's spouse is an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, as long as the clients consent and the spouse has had no contact with the matter at issue. [Rule 1.8(i) now allows related lawyers to be directly adverse to one another if the clients consent.]
