38-Fee Splitting

39-Miscellaneous

[WITHDRAWN 9/16] A lawyer can represent clients referred by a financial advisor, and work with the financial advisor to prepare various forms that the client needs (the lawyer would separately charge fees for the lawyer's services, and not split fees with the financial advisor). However, the lawyer must avoid aiding the financial advisor in completing any forms, to the extent that such action constitutes the unauthorized practice of law.
