12-Withdrawing Lawyers (Including Non-Compete Issues)

38-Fee Splitting

A professional corporation's agreement may not contain a covenant not to compete after withdrawal. The corporation may not demand part of withdrawing lawyer's future fees because it would be impermissible fee-splitting.
