A lawyer represented a couple in the purchase and refinance of their home. The lawyer may now represent the husband in a divorce action because the lawyer has only public knowledge about the home transaction. Although the wife claims that the lawyer will be a witness to the transaction, the lawyer may continue to represent the husband unless it is obvious that the lawyer will be called as a witness and the lawyer's testimony is or may be prejudicial to the husband.
