5-Lawyers Changing Jobs

45-Law Firms - Miscellaneous

A law firm that is the product of a merger may not represent one of its predecessors in a malpractice action when one of its partners will have to testify as a witness. [Under Rule 3.7(c), this disqualification is not imputed to the lawyer's firm unless there is an actual conflict of interest.]
